Ballistic rated, Have saved alot of the boys over seas eyes from roadsides. Etc, Interchangeable lenses for different light conditions. removable dust guards for keeping crap out of your eyes in windy areas or when riding in the gunner seat of a humvee on dirt roads. Plus they make you look like a BA! that is reason enough right there. =]
