Came down for a long weekend to finish off duck season before my ponds froze up. Had a pretty good time.

Funny you say that Dennis. I'm about ready to give up on the ducks this year and start chasing quail.

We shot a lot of gadwalls, we took very few hens if that is what you are referring too.

Yea, funny you should say that. He hates the cold water. His owner has to litterally throw him in to get the first duck, but after that he is good to go.

Get that Brittany a vest...he will be much more happy! They have little to no oil in their coats. Their hair stays water logged longer than other breeds that are bred for water work.
