This is for sure! They take time to help you learn what/why you need or want this one or that one. They don't get paged to footwear or clothing when you need answers! Plus, the store is simple, GUNS, SAFES and GRILLS.

I've been looking at Steelwater safes online. They make some that are rated 2 hours at 1800+ degrees (I'm more worried about fire than theft).
I've also been wondering about the best location for a safe (single-level home) for the best fire protection. On an outside wall, or more toward the interior?
Seems to me an outside wall might be best. :dunno:

Scott at SCI and my two firefighter buddies both said an exterior wall. Then, they can make that area a priority in a fire. Also, not as much heat at an exterior wall.
