Now the people can be disarmed by any psychiatrist who is an anti-gun advocate who can put anything into a patients medical record regardless if it’s true or not and the court will support it.

Hold on...one of the changes the gun community has been calling for is attention to mental health issues. This law is "unintended conquences" of that issue.

Tough topic. Certainly ripe for abuse, but any solution will be.

Like @dlmcm said, mental issues are a big problem. One way or the other, as a country we are going to have to deal with that.

My problem with this law, is that there is no representation. They issue this like a warrant from the sound of it, with no chance for the "victim" of the law to represent his side of the case.

Do the victims of natural selection and attrition have constitutional rights?
Yup. They have rights protected by the Constitution just like victims of the crimes committed by those destined to be victims of natural selection and attrition. If a person does not wish to become a victim of someone's right to self defense(the natural selection process), that person only need not put someone else's life in jeopardy so they don't get shot in self defense and thereby not contribute to the reduced number of criminals(the attrition aspect).

In an armed and polite society, if you put someone else's life I jeopardy, you put your life in jeopardy as well by the likely act of self defense by your intended victim. If your intended victim fails, you then face the rest of society in court and a likely death sentence.

Well and good, but...The mentally unstable individual takes his new, shiny AR-15 out of the closet, and steps into the school down the street. Those teachers and students have rights that are being infringed by the individual whose guns were not taken away because he has 2A rights. It just isn't as easy as saying "shall not be infringed". If we support and defend the Constitution, we have to support and defend the entire Constitution. The "gun problem" in USA is because there have been those who have taken advantage, either intentionally or unintentionally, of the freedom and easy access to firearms.

I don't have a solution, but ignoring the issue and saying that 2A is supreme over all is not a solution either.
