I agree! I like the Gen. 4 the best. I have had several Gen. 3 and just bought a Gen. 4 19. I like it better.

I have a G22, 1st gen and i really like it. I've a got gen 4 G26 and i like it just as well. I don't think you can go wrong, for a truck gun i would go with one of the earlier models though. jmho

I have a gen 3 g23 in OD green that is alright.. but I would rather have the .45 or 9mm. It is too expensive to shoot and too much flip.
If you insist on a .40 I would get the g23 C
