Thank goodness I’m in Will County, Plainfield, right by Joliet. I hate Chicago/Illinois too, but I’m having a great time seeing my kids and grandson every day. Some day in the future we’ll move to a non-communist state.

You might as well stay, they will all be communist soon. But I am happy for you to be able to enjoy your family. Too bad they didn’t move here. You could have had the best of both worlds. Good luck. I’m actually jealous of the snow you’ll probably get.

I go my degree right there, USF in Joliet. I have many like minded friends down there. Run down to Nicks tavern down in Lemont and grab a burger and Bloody Mary sometime. I’m friends with the owner

Well it’s official. I sold my house in Moore and moved in with my kids in Illinois. Sure loved being in Oklahoma. Ya’ll are great folks! I moved to Oklahoma 13 years ago after retiring from the Navy. Never been there before. Just happened to get stuck in a rainstorm when I drove thru.......so the wife and I stopped at a motel for the night and loved it so much we stayed. I’m still going to stay on the forum, but I just wanted to say bye to all of you and I wanted you all to know how much fun I’ve had talking to ya’ll.

Ummmm, I thought we all told you you were not allowed to do that. What? Are incapable of listening to a bunch of strangers over being near your grand children? I see how it is.
