The company I work for is looking for a few individuals to fill line service technician positions and customer service positions at Will Rogers Airport in OKC. Line service job duties consist primarily of providing fuel and other ground handling services to private and corporate airplanes flying into the airport, while the customer service positions are at the front desk and consist of greeting visitors and passengers, processing payments for fuel and services, and answering the phones. Shifts for LST are typically 5a-1 and 1p-10p while customer service shifts are typically 6a-2p and 2p-10p.
For line service, experience with aviation ground handling services is very much desired but not a requirement. The company has a thorough training program to ensure that all of our employees meet and exceed the highest levels of safety and customer service. Prospective applicants simply need a strong sense of safety and customer service to apply. This position does require you to work in all weather conditions. As a minimum requirement, each applicant posses the following:
High school diploma or GED certificate
Be at least 18 years of age
A valid state drivers license and meet the company's insurability requirements
Applicants with an interest in or knowledge of aviation are desired, but not required. Pay generally starts at $10/hr (possibly more with experience) and a very good benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays and 401k with matching. The company also provides employees with company paid benefits including life insurance, health and wellness programs, short and long term disability.
