This would undermine the ACA by allowing insurance companies to sell stripped-down bare bones plans that don't meet the new ridonkulous standards. The real news? 39 dems crossed the aisle to vote for it....

What's intriguing is that Congress passed the original ACA, and all Obama thinks he has to do is issue a directive amending the law to make things better. You can't just arbitrarily change laws through administrative orders...Congress has to pass new legislation amending the old one. Does this guy even understand how the legislative and legal process works, or does he just not care?

I don't see my employer changing things. They went from BCBS coverage to self-insured with BCBS just doing the admin of the plan. My previous plan is history and if I wanted it back it wouldn't be feasible. So, as a result I switched from the PPO plan to HCA setup to curb my costs and keep it close to what it was. The downside is that my premiums still increased slightly and my deductible went up. Oh well.

All of this really sucks. It's taking time and attention away from what really matters. The strength and stability of our great free Nation.
