So a strange conversation got me to thinking and not just that I need more brain cells.

IF you were taking a vehicle, which would peak your interest the most? Why?

Me, it would be the farm truck. I can always use another tool and it would be nice to have a newer truck!

The luxury car's cost of maintenance would be ridiculous. The 5 year old would be a solid vehicle.
I don't like the smell of diesel engines so I wouldn't own one but if it were addendumed to a 23-26 year old vortec 350 or vortec 454, I'd have voted for it. Or a 99-06 6.0 or bigger.

Had a 97 f-250 that was a beast. Just had to replace the body mounts and paint it to have it back to "nice truck" stage. Only thing that would have been better is if it would have been a diesel, the 351 loved the go sauce . POS stole it and parked it under a 350 welding rig in a ditch at Overholser .......... Miss that beast.

Normally, I would pick the farm truck, BUT, 15 yo makes it an 07. Really crappy year for motors.

A 5 yo econobox is at the end of life. They're built cheap, not to last.

My choice, grandma's beige luxury land- yacht. Babied, dealer serviced, garage kept, low miles, driven easy. 10 years old and still brand new.
