Went out today, and the batteries on the tractor were low, but still cranked. Gave it a shot of either, but it was one or two revs from starting when it died. Forgot to put my jumper cables in the new pickup, so it was a trip for nothing. Did some scouting for a new location to put a stand on a long time area. Its just 22 acres, and the current stand only allows access with a south wind. Found a spot on the other end that would work with a NW or North wind. Rifle or MZ only.

It's always 1 little thing for me as well, Dennis. A pair of pliers, machete, something. Aggravating as hell.

Camera hunted a little with my son in RMNP the last few days.Glassed some goats and sheep too, but they were way beyond my camera range. Left Colorado this morning and it was 32*..........saw 105* just before we got home. Ready for it to cool off here for sure!!

Next year put out your mineral blocks in May. Best time to get those young bucks and senior bucks minerals for better antler growth. Gotta get them minerals at the start of antler growth. Not too late though. They will still help.

I mostly put minerals out to stop them in front of the camera.

i got almost an inch of rain at my places. perfect for discing. my buddy's boys are going to spray today so we'll end up doing tractor and implement service.

edit; didn't make it to my buddy's but he went with me to my place. got two feeders going,brought another home to clean it up,got a cam going, did a lot of trimming. killed all the wasps that love to take over box blinds.
