It's official we are being invaded. 300,000 more illegals coming.

Thanks Billybob for your post clarifying and having a level-headed conversation about such a complex issue. It's NOT as clear-cut as many here try to make it, on either side of the ideological spectrum.

Sorry but its only a "complex issue" for those with an agenda. In reality it's not complex at all. They are breaking our laws! Yes it really is that simple. Sure some of the youngest don't know they are breaking our laws and shouldn't be punished but should be returned to their homes and there is no justification for taking more than a week to do so. But the rest do know and they chose to do so willingly and should be dealt with just as harshly as any other country in the world would. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just part of the problem.

So how do you sort the two out? It takes at least SOME amount of discernment to do so.

The real young ones are self explanatory. If it were me calling the shots, I'd interview everyone 10 years old and up. From what I've heard reported they are pretty honest once they get here. Even the MS13 goons, they are reported to be unafraid of admitting they are members and are actually proud of it. This would work well enough for a period of time, then they would wise up and start lying. But by then word would have spread that if they made it in, they wouldn't be allowed to stay and the problem would revert back to historical levels that real border controls could deal with.

I'd also dump the older ones right in Mexico's lap and have them deal with it. Don't like it? Quit conspiring and facilitating it. That whole "reap what you sow" thing...

I love hearing the "some people what us to turn Communist or we're turning socialist".

Name any person thats in Govt that is a professed Communist or Professed Socialist? Its fear mongering and rhetoric. Its just a leftover Coldwar tactic. Give me some real examples of how we are Communist or turning into a Communist Country.

Bernie sanders.

Progressive tax system punishing success.

I dont even know what you two are arguing about, just wanted to join in.

First off I was speaking metaphorically of the situation as perceived and or put forth by many today. And no any semi intelligent politician is not going to admit or profess communism or socialism whether they support it or not because it is taboo, and I never said any did.

But as we know there is a communist party as well as the descendant(Socialist Party USA) of the former Socialist Party of America so it's clear some people here do want that. As for the gov. and specifically the current administration when there are ties to people like Anita Dunn and Van Jones or others with radical ideas associated with the far left it's going to fuel perceptions and raise questions. And if you appoint 38 "Czars" 35 of which are not vetted or approved by the Senate it's of course going to raise questions. But it should also be said that the appointment of 33 "Czars", 28 of which were not vetted or approved by the Senate that Bush did should have raised questions also.

By your analogy and logic any law that is broken would be a sin....speeding gets ya a ticket to hell as quick as freeloading off taxpayers, crossing a border or jaywalking.

And that makes no sense.

It is not so much going across the border as what they do when they are here. kind of like there are attempted murder and attempted robbery. They don't want to have to wait till they do it. I think we know 90% of these "people" will vote against our gun rights and country and if half of them become productive citizens I would be shocked.

I think a member said Bernie Sanders. The entire congressional and Hispanic caucus when looking at their polices they seem to line up pretty well. I will say also about 95% of democrats and 20% of republicans are complicit in helping them.

Always comforting when members of a gun form advocate murder of non-violent people.

Non-violent! that is a good one. Find out how many decent Americans are killed each year in CA and Texas alone by illegals. There are lots more, but those two states come to mind. I would rather not take the chance and I am not saying randomly attack people. Hermann Cain advocating an electric fence that would have signs "You will be killed" by touching this. I advocate the same about people sneaking into the country. There is a chance they could be shot. If someone keeps coming at you and you are pointing a gun at theme I would call that a threat. Most self defense courses call that a threat.

Sadly if Obama can be elected I think anyone could say just about anything from the left and have a shot.

Gay marriage was taboo yet Obama was relected supporting it. Blacks supposedly were the group most opposed to gay marriage yet still flocked to Obama in droves in spite of what their values are supposed to be.

His deferred action for illegals is blatant bribery and vote buying, but he did it and was supported. I am sure a few members of the forum support it.

I understand. Its just funny to me.when people speak of Communism or Socialism or the Czars....like there is an active movement thats changeing our Govt.

And since you brought up the unvetted and non approved "Czars", (thats such a sinister word btw). Im sure the word is associated with Russia, which is associated with Communism, which subliminally implies one who appoints czars is a communist or a King. Obama has been called both.

I wonder what they were called before being called Czars? I wonder how far back we could go until we see which President started this "czar trend".

Does it matter? I live in the now. Obama is the most un-American president ever.

It's said to have started with Franklin Roosevelt.
