We had some plates that were getting damage from the .300 win mag, but I'm pretty sure they were replaced. I've hit them with rifles running over 4000 fps shooting lighter bullets, and 100 grain bullets running 3400 fps with no damage.
I've not researched the 28 nosler ballistics.
The plates ^^^^ are on the 100 yard range. The plates on the 300 yd range where we will be shooting will not suffer damage at that distance.

We did some recon yesterday in Tonkawa. We ate in town at Mary's. I had a Black and Blue Burger. It was an inch thick and tasty.

So it appears June 6 is locked in as the preferred date with eats afterward at Mary's in Tonkawa. As we get a little closer so we can look at the weather we will look at a rain date if needed.
The entrance road and range roads are all pretty much accessible no matter if it rains or not but if it's going to be a storm we don't want to be there under metal structures even though they are very well grounded.
