Marlin Model 99 M-1

Hope to get some help. I need to get a replacement rear sight for a Marlin 99 M-1. My Dad bought it new in the late '60s-early '70s. Somewhere along the way the rear folding sight broke and we removed it...and lost what was left of it! I'd like to find a complete replacement sight for it. Does anyone know of a good source for old Marlin parts? Numrich (eGunParts) doesn't seem to have all the pieces.

good luck, if you locate one it will set you back at least $40. check ebay often and numrich periodically. there are a few other used part sources on the net as well.

From what I've seen lately - the rear sight is worth as much as the whole gun.

I hadn't thought of eBay. I did see Numrich added a few pieces...might pick up what I can and add to it as they get the rest in stock. Thanks!

No doubt about that! I saw a few on Gunbroker that scared me so bad I bought him decent scope to put on it since I was the one that lost his iron sights.
