Most difficult decision of building an AR?

Sorta stuck on my first build whether to go fixed FSB or free float the barrel. Right now I might choose FSB and go cheaper, except that I already have a stripped barrel. Lesson learned if you are going to go FSB buy it that way from the factory.

Just do both on the same gun.

For me it is the first part. The lower. I have never built an AR and I kinda want to try it. There are several AR types I want. I want a carbine length in 6.8 and a sniper/pdog 24" heavy barrel with a good trigger and an old school 20" with triangle fore end and solid butt stock and a m4 clone. I have an old Colt SP-1 carbine and I think I really need four more.

See, in my mind the lower is going to be easier.
