Some of those suckers are smart. Had one or more get past the ambush I set up with sticky traps and a dog treat. Had to use more traps and fix it so the only way they could get to the treat was through a sticky trap. That is when I started catching the adults.

They're also fast; I've seen them run across glue traps and not get caught.

I've also seen one manage to extract himself despite being glued down by body hair and head, not just feet. I figure it just wasn't that one's day to die.

During the aforementioned rodent invasion, I had a rat-sized glue trap under the hood of one of my cars. At least one rat got caught in it but managed to crap enough to get himself free. It was disgusting--the trap was almost completely covered in rat poo.
