Well, the time has come. I need a new belt.
I have worn instructor belts by Wilderness for the last 12 years. I have a Looper leather kydex reinforced belt that I wear when a dressy belt is required, but for EDC and on duty wear, I prefer a nylon instructor type belt.
Now then...two Wilderness belts in 12+ years, I would say is a purdy good belt. However, I recently discovered a company called SOE (www.originalsoegear.com) and they have a rigger's belt that looks purdy good.
I just wonder if it will hold my duty gear (Galco Fletch holster and mag/cuff pouch) without sagging. The Wilderness handles this task flawlessly, but I always get the CSM model that has a polymer liner. The SOE belt doesn't say anything about any kind of liner/stiffener.
Does anybody out there own both and can give me their honest opinion?
