The. Next year or two is when DHS is going to start officially using it, the technology is there NOW! An if the technology is there someone is using it now, somewhere, it is. It just sitting on a shelf.

This would also be susceptible to snowshoe attacks... if it's picking up minute traces, then you distribute minute traces everywhere on everyone. Think The Thomas Crown Affair.

On the other hand you could have one of these at the bar to tell you if a woman has herpes or is ovulating.

Does it make it any better if you are right and it's gonna be here in a couple years, you are living In Dreamland. Just go back to the daily grind, won't happen for another year.

Unless they find someone to buy in, it will never happen. May not even happen then.

As far as I can see there is no source for this comment. They inventor is still working on it and plans to have a product in the next year or two.

As far as I can see, this comment from the article was simply made up:
"Their plan is to install this molecular-level scanning in airports and border crossings all across the United States. The official, stated goal of this arrangement is to be able to quickly identify explosives, dangerous chemicals, or bioweapons at a distance."

Yeah, ok, they'll just let this technology ( that they admit exists) sit on a shelf. Whatever. Good luck at the airport.

Out no more by proving you wrong. Debunk it for all I care, but quit stating false questions of the story.

It doesn't exist. A picture of a box with a random probe hanging out of it is all you need to believe it exists?

The advantages of the THz-spectroscopy consist of the possibility for nondestructive materials identification and characterization.

(It's about money. They are looking for development money.)
