I kind of look at the "Bill of sale" thing
Like if it was bought on a yellow sheet and something happened
I would want to be able to tell who I sold it to.
If bought cash and carry, ie. gun show, garage sale etc.
My names Jefferson, your names Franklin, thank you very much for the dead presidents.

We do not have gun registration in Okla.

I've never done a bill of sale. I figure if I legally don't have to, then there isn't much point. Mr. Billy Bob Joe, that hails from Nowheresville Oklahoma, could easily make up a name and sign a paper. If it isn't notarized, is it really much good anyway? I'm not the ATF, and I am not gonna start doing my own background checks.

I really hope that it never comes down to where a FFL is required for in-state transactions. The way things are going though it wouldn't surprise me. So many people would love to cross out the second amendment. I had a friend that I used to get along with really well until she moved out west. Within about a year of living there, she was singing a tune that sounded something like "Why would anyone even need to own a single gun?" And "We've changed the Constitution before...." She is no longer my friend.

mr jefferson and get a franklin back.... dang good prices where you shop...
hehehe

I agree.... I sell at gunshows all the time... we set up tables at all the metcalf shows and some of the other shows....

bill of sale is not for free people....

but then again I believe the CCW is just another way of gun registration....

I remember when we could open carry here before the CCW and I carried a loaded gun all the time.... in plain view in my car or trucks....

CCW's are cool but non licensed open carry makes a person free...
