Our ship also made the National news as well. With only one engine.
They crashed into the pier while trying to dock. There is two huge dents andscrapes on the forward side of the ship. Now we have to wait for the safetyinspectors and insurance inspectors toclear it before we can leave. But we aredrinking and having a blast. We don’tcare. Lol.

Here some pics of the ship after crashing into the pier. These gashes are approx 15 to 16 feet long.
Last word is that we may be here in San Juan for 4 days. We will see.
Our ship is huge though.

I knew there was a dang good reason for joining the Army instead of the Navy, which is where all my uncles served in WWII. I prefer something solid under me.

Picture below was taken while enroute to Toroweep (AKA Tuweep) Overlook of the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. No alcohol anywhere in sight, and it's a darn good thing.

Cruise update #3.


We are having blast!!


It looks like the ship has been cleared and we are leaving for the Bahama’s tonight at 7pm.
So far we have had one engine fail, a fire on deck 4 and crashed into the pier here in San Juan. They say all bad things come in 3’s, so fingers crossed that the rest of our cruise is incident free.

Bahamas, here we come.️

At least there shouldn't be any icebergs. Food poisoning on the entire ship would be the worst I believe. Good luck!
