Yeah, the lake leans...

...get over it.

It's a Monday.

Did you get a chance to get to the lake above it at well above timberline? We spent two nights there in a tent. It was so high that a wood fire would only smoulder, not actually get on fire. Propane was the only way to cook and the trout fishing was phenomenal in the extinct volcano lake. Bighorn sheep drinking at early morning.

We're too wimpy for such. My cot HAS to have something of an air mattress on it.

Good morning gang,
Well we finally made it home from our cruise to remember. Even after everything that went wrong with the ship and not making any of our ports of call, we still had a great time on the ship.
Here is a list of things that happened on the Norwegian Epic:
1. Semi truck ran into the gang walk before we left and screwed up some of the computers
2. We lost a engine on the second day and could only go half speed.
3. Didn't make any of our ports of call due to the engine situation
4. Had a fire on deck 4 from the incinerator. It was taken care of immediately and only a few people had to move to other rooms.
5. A fight broke out with a couple of the crew members.
6. And the ship ran into the pier in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

With everything that happened, we still had a great time. Norwegian did everything they could to help us all out and make our stay on the ship fun and entertaining. We received an extra day on the cruise, they gave us all a free cruise to be taken in the next 24 months and all free drinks. And they are taking care of all of our airline fees for having to change our flights home.

Glad to be home.

That had to be one heck of a wind gust, but those ships do present a lot of square footage broadside.

We hit a rogue wave when we took the kids on their first cruise. The kids were out by the pool and the wife and I had stepped in to get some sushi. The boat leaned over and we had felt that before but it kept going over. The kids said all the water ran out of the pools and all the deck chairs ended up on one side of the boat
