Pretty cool. When I flew my powered parachute and my gyro I was always scared of birds getting close, they could cause serious problems if they get into lines or the prop. Or hit me in the face. 
While I'd absolutely love to be able to get such a picture myself, I am NOT going to go paragliding just to "maybe" see it happen.
As for tagging birds, I used to think they did more in the way of "bands" around their legs instead of what that one looks like. But, I've never "tagged" birds, so what do I know?
