It's not funny, it's just stupid. She's just another person, among millions of people, that think some things are funny, when they aren't. She's a cook, not a comedian, and she's got zero sense of timing. We all know people like her. She isn't evil, she's just a little stupid.

She also doesn't really cuss. She swears in all the wrong places, and with the wrong cuss words. We all know someone like that too. She's one of 'em. She's heard comedians cuss, and she thinks the "words" are what's funny, or effective, and just like every other word in every language, it ain't the word, it's how you use it that counts.

I saw it last night on ET, but can't find a link to the spot anywhere ... If what she was doing is "raunchy" somebody needs to get out more. I don't care for her at all (think she's a bit of a drama queen) but she hasn't done anything that warrants the media tar and feathering her like this.

Apparently, along with her sky-rocketing book sales and pre-sales, Carnival (I think that's the cruise line she's with) has added some more Paula Deen cruises due to a high demand. She may not be making money like she was before all this happened, but she's sure not gonna be homeless or lining up at the food bank.

One tip for her though ... If she's gonna "cry" during her apology skits she might want to work on learning how to shed a tear ... Helps with the realism ... Just saying ...

I didn't understand this either, and I've asked one of my black friends about it before....apparently it's something with the spelling and how THEY pronounce it.... it's saying it with the A on the end, not er. I guess it's not racist if you say it with the a....and I just thought they were being too lazy to say a word correctly. Ebonics...guess you can't understand unless you grow up around it.

Their culture does need to show more self worth though. I do think that a lot of racism is dead, as it needs to be. Then again, it's hard for racism to stay dead when you depict such a negative image of yourself.

The main stream media and the current administration needed a fall person and Paula Dean was it.

What better way than to get the black community in a uproar about a word they have been trained to think is bad if anyone but a black person utters it.

Meanwhile the current administration readies to welcome 12 million new democrat voters to the polls ensuring they stay in control of the politics of this nation and push the socialist agenda into our everyday lives.

Some of her persecutors would have us re-write the history of former statesmen like Jefferson. History is just history. It cannot be changed. It is what it is. It happened. She appologized honestly. Now they need to get over it.
