Plan A tapered vs 3 lug

Needing to get a new mount for my pcc threaded in 1/2x36 so the list of options gets short. Anyone that uses both a 3 lug and or plan A tapered which do you prefer?

I've used a Griffin taper mount and a 3 lug on an AR9 and I much prefer the 3 lug for that application.
