i've had both of them as well. its super easy to spoof caller ID/txt source.

the target one URL ends in .tltz.biz - thats a no brainer right there as its not www.target.com

dont even goto the links, the sites themselves have browser based virus installs written into the code.

i did a little writeup that addresses this topic a few months ago. skip down to "software"

I've gotten both of those: both on my cell.

Now my cell is off 99.9% of the time - really - maybe used once every other month or so to call the wife and let her know I'll be late or something when I forgot to call her from the office.

I know phones can be spoofed but geez - when it is off 99.9% of the time.

HOW in the HELL can that happen? Do I have to pull the danged battery too?

EDIT to ADD: And no one - and I mean no one has my number except my wife and she has called me on it maybe twice in the 5 years I've had it. It's a tracphone by the way and not even Tracphone knows who is using it because I paid cash for the thing and pay cash for the minutes cards I use to keep it active.
