This is crazy. I'm in SE Oklahoma about 1.5 hours from Paris, TX and I had my first buck drop a shed (had him come by again with only one antler...he's a daily visitor) by the end of Dec.
Haven't had a "buck" on camera since the end of January, but I do have some huge-necked does daily.
Found one of this pair in my food plot January 10, 2022. Found the other in some blackberry bushes just off the plot Feb 6. The wood boards are 18" x 12" for comparison:

I was meaning that it starts earlier down there.
I found one of this years shed today.
I look at these kinds of bucks as future Booners.
