I had four like that coming to one of my sites this last year. Hoping that in another two years I'll have a couple shooters if the neighbors don't poach them first.

I was discing in preparation for a prescribed burn this evening and found this one.

Found a few sheds and a skull. I had been watching this buck for a few years. I guess he died of old age or the neighbors shot and lost him. He was blind in his left eye.

Walked around a heavily hunted property for 1.5 hours this afternoon to look for sheds. Haven't tracked for these folks before, but looks like it may have helped.

If you find a dead buck skull are you allowed to take it? Found some where a wild fire went through on public but haven’t touched em because I wasn’t sure. My two boys hope we can take them.
