Just announced….she will compete on balance beam
Probably doesn't experience the twisties on the beam routine.

The possible danger of her being injured effecting her performance is a moot point, simply because it goes with the territory. You don't hear NASCAR or F1 guys complaining about the danger involved in their sport. And both Ryan Newman and Roman Grosjean came as close to dying as one could come in recent horrible wrecks. And you didn't hear a peep out of them. Both continue to race. Newman in NASCAR and Grosjean in Indy Car.
This woman has been here before, and she knows what's involved. From both a physical and mental aspect of this type of competition. The fact of the matter is she didn't perform well, her ego couldn't take it, and she QUIT. Pure and simple. Anything else is just a bunch of smoke filled, coffee house crap. And she's getting away with it because of this total B.S., "woke" culture, that won't criticize her because she's black.
She has a G.O.A.T. patch sewn on her uniform that she has worn in past performances. Perhaps she's upset because after this is all over with, she'll have to remove it. That's what happens when you possess a runaway ego, that can't keep up with reality. Frankly I'm sick and tired of hearing about her, and this whole dog and pony show she has spearheaded.
So.... She say's she got a bad case of "the twisties", poor dear. And because of this she withdrew for fear of, "breaking her neck".... So she say's. But now she has miraculously been somehow "cured" of this horrific, momentary ailment, after receiving a ton of bad press over her performance.... Or lack of it. And now, by the grace of God, plans to return in order to compete in the Balance Beam..... And of course you're buying into all of this, based on nothing more than the fact she said it? But who cares about applying common sense and logic, eh?Pretty sure "Nascar and F1 guys" wouldn't be racing if they lost their basic spatial ability but who cares about logic and reason anyways eh?
We obviously disagree and that's fine, I just have one question. Why do people complain about "hearing about her?" Isn't it pretty easy to not reply to these threads? or simply turn the channel or not voluntarily look her up online? I mean, you make the effort to keep checking this thread, yet complain about her exposure.

On the other side of that coin, Roman Grosjean went through an ARMCO barrier at over 120 MPH that cut his car in two, ripped it's full fuel cell open, causing what was left of it to explode. And was trapped inside the burning wreckage for a full 30 seconds before escaping on his own, because no one was able to get through the flames to rescue him. This after being exposed to an impact force of over 67 G's......... And the only thing he was complaining about, was the fact they wouldn't let him race the following weekend, because his hands were too badly burned.
And when he was asked in the days following the accident, if he felt the track was to blame for not having a tire barrier in place, instead of a steel ARMCO guardrail, he replied, "I was the guy driving the car, not the track designer"....... So yes, Biles is a first class whiner and obvious excuse maker.
And to answer your question, I'll comment on what I wish, however I wish, whenever I wish. If you don't like it, then don't read it. People are exposed to this type of lunacy every day. Regardless if they want to be or not. Just look at the Dementia ridden, mental case we have to put up with in the White House every day. Who requires Q Cards to answer yes or no questions. Living in a 24 hour news cycle it's pretty hard to avoid it. So if I comment, and someone answers said comments, yes, I'll reply. And I don't need to make excuses to you or anyone else to do it.
I think this woman is, and unfortunately has been, an over promoted egomaniac. Who for what ever reason, had a really bad performance when she needed a really good one. Much like most every athlete has from time to time. She could have handled it differently, or even shrugged her shoulders and simply dismissed it as a bad day, and said how disappointed she was. And people would have looked up to her with praise, instead of down on her with criticism. Simply put, she went out of her way to make a bad situation even worse.
I get it, you've got some weird flex going on with motorsports, more power to you.
No, you don't, "get it". There is having a bad performance, owning up to it, and moving on. And then there is whining, quitting, and making up all kinds of excuses. All of it in some lame attempt at CYA. She chose the latter, and it has all obviously backfired. Now she's trying to dig herself out of a hole that she, and she alone managed to dig herself into. I have no sympathy for her because she generated this mess all on her own. Not by having a bad day. As I said every athlete has those. But by her antics afterward.
You like Biles. I get that. And you're trying to defend her by posting that nonsense about Djokovic smashing tennis rackets, and acting like an idiot. As if showing additional bad behavior supports her original display of bad behavior. It doesn't.
.........Funny thing is, he actually caused someone else NOT to get a medal by withdrawing. What will be interesting is how the media and people like yourself treat that situation.......
