The Smith & Wesson Centennials (model 442/642) are popular choices.

I prefer the Bodyguard series myself.

You will not be disappointed with a S&W. The money you have to lay down over the cost of the Taurus is money well spent.

I'm with GED, I prefer the Body Guard, mine is a 638, but I would love to have one like his.

Don't bother with the laser... it's a waste, just learn to shoot the gun.

I bought my 638 two years ago in November for $425 out the door at Wannenmacher's from RJ.

That laser model is the new bodyguard... the release is where the hammer would be.. a bit different..

so Traxxis, what is different between your and GED's 638?
