So I had this crazy idea and want to bounce off of yall because I'm curious,

Looking to build a 3 gun upper, torn between .223/5.56 and 300blk.

Ideas? Thoughts? Feelings? Haha

.223/5.56mm. Ammo is cheaper and easier to find. .300 B/O is fine for some things, but high volume fire at stationary targets is not one of them.

That's what I was thinking, I have enough 223 brass I could cut it to size but I was curious

Also consider that if you're a reloader and shoot in 3-gun, there may not be time to pick up your brass. I like to shoot but I hate to leave brass behind.

There isn't time to pick up brass. Which is a huge case for 5.56/.223 over .300blk, as .300 brass is either expensive to buy or time consuming to make.

Why a 300 Blk if not shooting suppressed? I see no advantage whatsoever.
