Where the F are there flying snakes! Aint nobody got time for dat!

Southeast Asia and India; the snakes (Chrysopelea spp.) actually glide after launching themselves from a tree branch and forming the undersides of their bodies into a concave shape to catch the air. Here's a link to a video that shows how far they can glide - note the snake in the video landed outside of the marked grid on the ground and the FOV of the camera.

I can't remember not ever seeing black and white stripped mosquitoes. What's the other species we have here?

There's a bunch of mosquito species in OK - fifty or sixty, IIRC. The ones that bite the most are in the genera Aedes and especially Culex.
