Howdie yall. The Watermelon festival is quickly approaching. Will any of our OSA community be selling items in it?
I'll be on the hunt for Galia (Isreal) Melons. If anyone knows someone that sells these, please get in touch with me!

We usually go, I love watermelons, and all kinds of melons! Gonna try to take the grandkids again this year.

It's a 3 day event according to this site. I want to try to go Thursday before the good stuff is all gone. LOL

I grew up in Rush Springs. it's a 1 day festival. the carnival starts Thursday-Saturday. Check with the melon vendors along Hwy 81 and in town. People usually plant the local variety of black diamond and jubele. Plus some of there rare varieties. The actual festival is on Saturday. I suggest you go early morning. It get's hot in the park, but you can cool off at the springs and eat some cold melon. Lots of craft booths.
