For what it's worth, I have a Flatsafe, and actually survived a direct hit in 2010. Rebuilt in the same spot, and of course, went with Flatsafe again. Install was a breeze all three times I have used them (actually, the same husband and wife team did the installs all three times). Door slides smoothely, no problems/difficulties as far as that goes. They even coated my door with the same garage floor coating I had on my garage floor this last go 'round.
