Keep waiting. Obama supports unions, unions extort money from corporations, unions extort money by either striking or threatening to strike. Obama may not have called the union and said "put Hostess out of business", but I'm sure he's proud just the same.

Seedy, a man has to weigh his options. If I am unskilled labor, do I accept the layoff and 26 weeks of unemployment when unemployment is and has been 8% or greater for the last 4 years or do I suck it up and take the 8% pay cut and keep my job? Hostess had 13,500 employees agree to the pay cut, 5000 union members cost them their jobs.

Now not only do we have 18,500 fewer employed citizens, we have 18,500 new takers. The decision by the union in this particular case was selfish and irresponsible.
