S&W 642 in a pocket holster or a Sideguard Minimal Clip IWB, or a G43 in a RM Lowrider IWB or a Tueller Holsters OWB Pancake Rig, or a Gen 4 G19 in a Milt Sparks SS II, or a Ruger SR 1911 Stainless Commander in a Nightingale Leather Griffon V OWB or a Kramer #3 IWB. Sometimes I may carry something else if the mood strikes me. In reality, the G43 gets carried the most just because its so darned easy to tote around and also because I shoot it well. But today, I'm feeling all old school 1911-like so the SR 1911 Cmd is going IWB in the Kramer rig. Of course, we're going to a really high threat environment, Charleston's over on Meridian, so I need the absolute-knock-down-devastation-power that the .45 ACP cartridge gives me. I saw in the movies that the .45ACP will not just knock a bad guy down, but blow his socks clean off his feet too.

Why? being a LEO doesn't give them a right to ask specifics about what pistol you carry so why would that matter?

SW 642 or a Kimber Commander size 1911
Daily carry a Ruger LCR 38spl +P. For those times where i'm in a more insecure setting a Ruger 1911 with extra 10rnd mag and the 38spl for back up.
