Yea. That is what I think too. I'd like to know what kind of gun you were shooting also. This i would think would only be common in an open bolt gun
It was either my M&P 9mm or Keltec sub2000. Private land so doubtful it belonged to someone else, also didn't match brand of fellow shooters. I was the only one shooting reloads, which is where I'm assuming it came from.

Or the primer wasnt fully seated.
The bulge around this case seems to be mostly symetrical. Pistol chambers are not, with a barrel hood on top and a feed ramp on the bottom. The only cases I've seen bulges this way are out of a blow-back operated subgun, Uzi and Mac to be specific.
