What makes a case do this?

I've never seen a case balloon like the one on the left. Everything fired/felt fine. Didn't know anything happened until picking up brass after shooting.

It was either my M&P 9mm or Keltec sub2000. Private land so doubtful it belonged to someone else, also didn't match brand of fellow shooters. I was the only one shooting reloads, which is where I'm assuming it came from.

The bulge around this case seems to be mostly symetrical. Pistol chambers are not, with a barrel hood on top and a feed ramp on the bottom. The only cases I've seen bulges this way are out of a blow-back operated subgun, Uzi and Mac to be specific.

Based entirely on this one pic, and the handguns you were shooting, I don't think this one is yours.
