What was your first vehicle?

The other thread on family cars reminded me of my first car.

I had a 64.5 baby blue Mustang. 260 V8

Popped my cherry in the back seat. Come to think about it 3 of my girlfriends did too.

1990 Plymouth Acclaim. It was my step-mom’s old car and I had to help my dad put a cylinder head on it after a family member drove it when the head gasket blew. I did not treat it nicely.

Bought it out of a farmers field for $50. Drove it through high school and college.
A babe magnet.

1985 Pontiac Sunbird, old brown as it was known. After we eventually sold it, the new owners didn't change the title and drove it into a flood, killing the driver and passenger. The police thought it was my brother and I, and they called my dad to report our deaths.

I paid less than $1000 combined for my first three vehicles --- '74 Vega with 3sp man on the floor, '65 Chev pickup, and a '66 Chev pickup. Fun times 'unscrambling' the column shifter on the '65 until I wised up and put a Hurst shifter on the floor.

This was my great grandpa's last vehicle, even the same color! Drove it until he was 98 or 99 years old.
