LOL. I know what you mean. Funny thing is that Louie's is one of the few "sports bar" places my wife likes to go to sit and hang out. She does not like Hooters. She will go to BWW, but she is not to crazy about it either.

my wife likes Louie's too. It's also been very kid friendly.
I find it's even better when they have Boulevard for $2.
Reuben and a Boulevard please.
That's some good dinner right there.

I also like Red Robin for a bleu cheese burger and a guinness.

Then I found out that my blood pressure reflected the awesome food and beer I have been having.
:P

Now I'm having some lemon water, chicken breast and carrots.

My wife also preferred Hudson's to the others.

Also, I agree the Goldie's out west were pretty sad. The ones in Stillwater and Norman were, at least. If you get to the Tulsa area, try one here. They are much better, the original location at 51st and Lewis being the best. It seems they don't monitor their franchisees very well.

Boomerang Grill sell good fried pickles...I tried Twin Peaks last week. Not my favorite but not bad. I did like the fact that there pickles include fried peppers too. Worth a try.
