And it’s a tent not a building.Crazy to think that Winstar is the largest casino in the world.
Going into management with in the Chickasaw nation generally requires you to have high blood quantum or family ties.In general they are over priced and nothing special. Not bad just not great. We have tried several and my son worked at several other ones. He seemed to think the Dallas Cowboys restaurant was really overpriced for what they served. Kirby's Steakhouse is supposed to be good if you don't mind spending some money. They do treat their employees well. My son was on track to go into management before he left Winstar and went into management elsewhere. Good kid. Proud of him. Can't even buy alcohol legally yet.
When my brother lived in Denton I'd occasionally spend a Saturday with him, usually leaving around midnight. It was crazy at exit 1 after crossing the Red River because there was a river of headlights facing you, but on your right instead of your left. I don't recall a time I passed that place that it wasn't packed.Crazy to think that Winstar is the largest casino in the world.
I have ate at Kirby’s and was not overly impressed, especially for the price. We will be there this Saturday for Seinfeld and I am trying to figure out what and where we will eat.
there is a pretty good and reasonable bbq place we went to last time we were there - it is on the left side [coming form hotel] and on the left side of the gaming area that extends out from the main floor + don't expect any BEST-in class places - I think Toby Kieth's is still there too and it's decentAre they any good? Any to steer clear of? We like all foods, and not terribly picky. Thanks.
