Had a few along the way before I went 100% FWD. Had a '57 Chevy 2dr hardtop in high school with a modified 283 and a 1969 Torino GT with 428 CJ in college. Also had a 1980 black & gold Trans Am T-Top that was stolen, stripped, & burned. 
I will probably retire next year and plan to fix up a 'hoopie car' to haul my grandkids around in. Maybe a mid-50's Chevy truck or a '55 Chevy 2 door post - crate 383, aftermarket 5 speed manual, headers, plain-jane interior and flat black paint with 14" red rims and baby moons or black center caps. Add a little airbrush motif on the front or rear quarter panels, or maybe trunk or hood. I like flames, but they are a little overdone - might have the old 'wild woodpecker' on the quaterpanels or a wild native scene on the trunk lid.
