Really... hmmm. I'll have to check that out.

But still, the 5.0 isn't a 427.

No, but it's a VERY good powerplant. Ford Racing offers it in a complete crate configuration and when paired with the Boss Power Pack, you're looking at about 470 HP with a durable 6500 RPM redline, all under warranty. With the weight savings and compact envelope, this would be tough to beat in a pony car, FFR or Superformance Cobra or street rod build.

If TCI comes up with a Coyote tranny kit for their 6x 6-Speed GM 4L80E with paddle shift (they have them for Ford SB, BB and 4.6 modular), it would be an unbeatable package for an all around street build.

I don't know if this is a true muscle car but, a 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix. Had one of these in my late teen's early 20's. Had a 428 ci engine, turbo 400. Bad to the bone.

I would love to have a '70 Chevelle SS also...

Is this your Safari? If so, it's a beautiful car sir. I've seen it around several times at shows.

Not really a true muscle car guy, I liked the smaller cars.

If I had to pick a muscle car, it would be a 1970 Chevelle, with modern LSx transplant.

Outside the muscle car realm, I want a Factory Five Cobra replica; preferably with either a 5.0 Coyote motor, or ,an LS3... or Hallelujah! an LS7. Then you could put the 427 badges on the side and they would MEAN something! Can you imagine a 2400-2500lb car with an easy 500+ hp? Drop in a 6spd manual... Weeeee!

Next would be a '68-'72 'Vette. Again, I'd like to put in an LSx 6spd. Seeing a pattern? LOL!

A '67-'68 Mustang, either fastback or coupe. The Factory Five '33 Hot Rod is pretty high on my list too.

That C3 vette is nice. My bff is in the process of customizing her '76 Stingray and I've been pushing the side pipes, that same hood and a hot rod engine. I thought her current wheels were a great choice but after seeing that pic maybe something a little closer to resto-mod is in order.

There are two current cars that I would love to own first is a C5, C6 or woohoo the C7 Corvette! I'm happy with a C5...I'm not high maintenance, i'm happy with a car made in 1997. The second choice is a "Panther Pink" new generation Dodge Challenger (preferably the SRT 8). I'm techie enough to post a pic of an actual Panther Pink challenger but if someone else can please do that for me :) (here's the website...
