I actually know the owners of these two classics, a couple of real idiots :screwy:

Just because it's always interested me and provided me with daydream material- In the late 60's, my Grandfather ordered a Dodge Dart from the factory and specified a Hemi engine....Would have loved to get my hands on it, but it was long gone before I appreciated what it was.

That would've been valuable for sure....they only produced about 60-80 Hemi powered "Hurst" Darts in '68.

There was one bombing around my hometown when I was a kid...plain white sleeper. Blew the doors off everything.

The General Lee.

Man- With the general lee I could peel out all over this red dirt, then go jump some creeks, then go plow thru some square bales, maybe do some donuts in front of the town courthouse or jump over a road crew using the big rigs car ramp!

All kinds of great ****!!!

Not really a true muscle car guy, I liked the smaller cars.

If I had to pick a muscle car, it would be a 1970 Chevelle, with modern LSx transplant.

Outside the muscle car realm, I want a Factory Five Cobra replica; preferably with either a 5.0 Coyote motor, or an LS3... or Hallelujah! an LS7. Then you could put the 427 badges on the side and they would MEAN something! Can you imagine a 2400-2500lb car with an easy 500+ hp? Drop in a 6spd manual... Weeeee!

Next would be a '68-'72 'Vette. Again, I'd like to put in an LSx 6spd. Seeing a pattern? LOL!

A '67-'68 Mustang, either fastback or coupe. The Factory Five '33 Hot Rod is pretty high on my list too.

Anybody who doesn't think these are muscle cars is crazy! :)

Although... I'd take the 5.0 Coyote over the LS7 in the Cobra any day... the power guys are making with the Coyote motors is incredible to say the least!
