This thread just made me throw up in my mouth alittle......
When I was growing up my cousin had a 69 1/2 440 6 Pack Road Runner and his brother had a 1970 340 auto Duster. The Road Runner was rarely beat and the Duster would beat most big blocks in the quarter. I miss the Good Old Days and riding in real cars!

My first car was 70 440 Challenger, Third was a 340 Cuda, about 8th or so was a 68 Roadrunner project which never really got started.
Having said that, go with the Mustang, leaves me more of a chance at finding a decent B body.

My next car will be something you don't see everyday. I love the old Camaros, but I could not drive my 69 without seeing two more just like it on the road. Now I am looking at something like an 67-68 Firebird 400, 66 Lincoln, or maybe an old rat rod. I love the old 30 model trucks.
I had a 57 Chevy in high school w/a 365 hp 327,4 speed, 4.56 gears and M&H slicks.I could tape a $100 bill on the dash and during a pass, no one could grab it(grab it and you could keep it).

I love the 68 Firebird. You don't see many of them running around. I know where a drop top has been sitting for the last 6 years, but I can not talk them out of it.
i thought you were gonna say it had a 283 with power pack heads and a high riser intake with pop up pistons and a 3/4 race cam??
