A similar memory still lingers in my mind. Although if I remember correctly he kept a 6 pack or two for evidence just in case we showed back up.

Pfft ... he put those in the ice chest in the truck of his patrol car. Man's gotta have a cool, refreshing drink after harassing poor, innocent civilians for 8 hours ... :wink2:

I poured out two cases of Old Milwaukee on the side of the road one time.
Not because it tasted like $hix (even though it did), but because the officer told us to, and then told us to go home and stay there!!!!!
Seemed like it was around $1.99 a case or so. Back then Coors was $.99 a six-pack.

Old Milwaukee was my favorite cheap beer back in the day. I poured it out it all right, just not on the ground. ;)

Back in the day in the Boston area it was usually Schlitz, Budweiser, Michelob, or Lowenbrau (when we could afford it). When I lived in DC during the late 70's and early 80's, I could get a case of Weidemans for $5.00.

Now my extravagance is limited to ice tea and diet mountain dew. :^)

When I was a little kid....Coors, Stag, Schlitz, & Falstaf .

In High School...Lowenbrau, Mickey's, Michelob(Extra or Extra Dry?)Bud, Coors, Lone Star, and the girls drank Zima.

Later....All kinds of Mexican beer, a college buddy's folks lived in Syracuse but he chose to go to college here...after the summer break he'd bring back...Black Label and Iron City. I remember my first Dos Equis...1982. My cousins that live in Los Angeles and I were driving down to Baja Mexico....Ensenada. We had a case of Dos in the "surfer van" and drank it from LA to San Diego.

When we crossed the border into Tiajuana....two more cases and off to Ensenada...really South of there to enjoy the beach!!
