Only if there's a male flea around. Even educated fleas do it

With freezing weather settling in, I don't reckon it will be much of a problem one way, or the other. Just give the animal a bath.

A bath now...and a bath in 3 days...then another bath in 3 days. Gotta get ride of new fleas the will hatch soon...and get them before they lay eggs.

Well we bathed him with dawn and we removed a total of three fleas from him. The vet gave us some topical flea preventative to put on him, our other dog, and our cat, so they all got that. Vacuumed the carpet and washed the bedding. I think we're going to be good. Thanks for the help everyone.

We have always used Frontline and never had a flea till we got lax this summer and missed a couple months. Lesson learned..

Indeed - I use a similar product, Advantix, on my five dogs, and they're outside all day during the summer. Not one flea to be seen in the house.

We used a flea product this year and it killed one of our cats, it trashed her liver and she slowly starved to death. She passed last Friday.
