So how do you eat your grits?

Depends on my mood. Sometimes with butter, lots of butter and salt. Other times with sugar and honey. Need some Grits now.!!

I'm from the South(Florida) and most my family originates from the deep south(Specifically Georgia), so i ate a ton of grits growing up.

It depends on what i'm eating them with. The thing with grits is they taste like whatever you shove into them.

sometimes i'll break my eggs up in them, or bacon. Sometimes i'll use butter. But 99% of the time i shove some bacon grease or eggs into them before i eat them. They're mighty good with hash browns jammed into them as well.

I come from a pretty traditional family, so the woman always cooked. and man, did she cook. whether it was my grandma or ma It was like a buffet every morning.

Try this: order the sampler breakfast at Cracker Barrel and you'll get everything they offer for breakfast. This will include the grits and the fried apples. Use the fried apples to flavor the grits and I bet you'll love them. The only reason not to like that is if you don't like apple pie, then you've got a bigger problem.
