Since my surgery in January, I've become quite the hot tea drinker, decaf only of course. My favorite is a mandarin orange, but tonight I tried a lemon flavor. I buy the Keurig K cups.

I like tea. My girlfriend quit drinking coffee by going to black tea in the mornings. I drank it for a while but it makes me naseaus on an empty or nearly-empty stomach (pretty common - tannic acid I believe). Coffee doesn't.

I tried to lose my alcohol belly by drinking green tea at night a while back instead but ya know booze is just a lot better ya know?

Nothing but the Lipton tea bags we got at work. Hot tea is ok in the winter, but never got into the green tea's. Tried it once and it was like drinking Bermuda grass.

Yeah, I originally started drinking tea to help kick the pop habit. I still drink too much pop, but tea does help to cut down on it.

La Croix water. Fill the fridge with it.

Luckily I naturally lost most of my taste for pop in my late teen years. Never keep it at the house. I'll get it with takeout food occasionally.

My best friend drinks Dr. Pepper by the case. It's insane. I've backpacked in the rockies with this dude and seen him pull out a DP at 13k feet. He drinks probably less water in a year than I do a week. Says "it tastes bad". Water? Water tastes bad? He goes to the dentist all the time and still has cavities all the time. I didn't go for the first time until I was 27 years old. Had 2 cavities. And I didn't take great care of my teeth.

I mean I can't judge him because I have plenty of disgusting habits, but I like to think mine have a bigger payoff for the damage done.

Aunt had a pepsi addiction. Two, Two liters a day. We were at the lake cabin one day and dad hid her stash. Thought she was going to kill somebody to get them back.
Sugar?

I keep more than a dozen kinds of tea both at home and at the office.

If you haven't tried Earl Grey and Chai, both with a touch of heavy cream (whipping cream; half-and-half just doesn't do it), you're depriving yourself. Constant Comment is another good choice, and any mint (to include Sleepytime) or chamomile at bedtime is always a good way to end an evening.
