Yeah, Look at that enormous piece of ground called Alaska (3 votes), then look at that piddling little piece of ground called Rhode Island (4 votes). WTF is up with that?

It called the electoral college. It's a product of a representative republic which is what we have. Unlike the democracy you guys always try to say we have which would result in all that red being ruled and lorded over by the little bit of blue on there.

So the little piece of ground SHOULD get more votes than the big piece of ground? Preposterous! That almost makes your graphic irrelevant.

OH! Now I get it. The system is even less democratic to pieces of ground than it is to people. Pretty unfair. Still trying to unravel the meaning of the graphic, though, considering what it was posted in response to. Damn. This place is so confusing.
Lol you have been missed

With regards to term limits on the national level, didn't the Republicans get term limits passed as part of the 1994 Contract with America? If I remember that right, the Supreme Court then decided that the "law" was unconstitutional because it "limited free speech" because people couldn't vote for whom they really wanted.

As for McCain, he has long been considered "Democrat-lite" because he was so willing to work with them. I imagine that image of him "leading the fight against Obamacare" was only an election ploy when he was up for re-election.
