Gave in and ordered a pair of Loveless boots today. Probably should have done it years ago. 60-90 days to get them. If I really happy I'll get a pair of work boot as well. May have a couple of firearms for sale :)

I have my boots built by Beck in Amarillo. I love em. Customer service is excellent. Guaranteed fit, Jeremy will pay for shipping back and forth until the fit is to your liking. Bec-tec sole guaranteed for 18 months. I've had 4 pair built in the last 10yrs and they are all still useable.

This is what the last ones look like. Built 2yrs ago. This reminds me they are now in "full duty" use and it's time to order some new ones for church and goin out on the town.

Those look great. I do need a new pair of work boots. Will Beck custom fit lace up work boots? Most of my cowboy days are behind me now but my feet are incredibly difficult to fit and none of the manufactured boots will fit me now, hence the need for custom. And, I learned 30 years ago that expensive quality boots were cheaper in the long run.

I've not inquired about their lace ups. I know they started building em a few years ago. I'm sure they will custom fit em. I've thought about getting a pair of lacers built with the tread type sole for winter feedtrucking. Just give em a holler. Jeremy or Charlsea (spelling?) will fix ya up. I've been dealing with Jeremy since Mr. Harry Beck sold or passed the company to Jeremy. Harry was a fabulous old guy. He would even answer the phone on Sunday. I remember the first pair I was ordering from Harry, I said "I think I'd like to get my brand on em" Harry said "Aww son, I can tell your a young man. Why don't you save that $75 I would charge ya for putting your brand on em?" I didn't have a brand put on em cuz Mr. Beck made sense.

I recently stopped in St.Jo,Texas and went to C.T. Chappell boot shop.He is around the same price as Loveless boots but he takes 18 months to 2 years to get your boots.Best leather work I have seen.I would just rather have 10 pairs of nikes or brooks than one pair of expensive boots.
