I think she is in shock. Will not talk about it to anyone in the family. In fact I think she has told me more than our sisters. Of course she may be afraid if we get to many details I will lead the packs of sisters down for revenge. There are 6 other sisters, half sisters and step sisters (can you guess my dad's hobby?) and most of them have a temper.
Sad thing is this may be the wakeup I kept expecting to come her way. She is a liberal, new age, vegan because she does not want to hurt animals, yuppie wanna-be who as she said "Lives in her rainbow world" I kept telling her that there is evil in the world, buy a gun and learn to use it but she would not. This is not the way I wanted her to see the real world and especially not on her birthday.
Sometimes I think we need more Paul Kerseys (Charles Bronson). And, no, I'm not making light of it. Our system of justice is just lacking.

Rick, I am very sorry to hear that this evil has happened to your sister. The actions of those perps really piss me off. I would really like to teach them a lesson that they would remember when they take their last breath. I will keep your sister, you and your family in my prayers.
No, the police are telling her not to talk about it. Not sure if that means they are investigating or trying to ignore it.

I think they have been arrested shortly after it happened but the police and DA down in Austin are telling her not to say much publicly. And no it was not an attempt for attention, I saw the bruises, split lip, etc.
