Exactly. I have bought privately a ton, but only sold a handful. Actually.... I think I've SOLD 2, and traded 3 or 4. That's it. I just don't need the money bad enough to get rid of some of my prized possessions. lol

This thread got way off onto the butthurt track in a hurry. What Defcon is saying, is that all those dudes buying and selling guns for a profit or to fund this or that, Uncle Sugar is going to knock on your door and say "Knock it the bleep off." This includes a lot of mofos on this forum. And yes, you better know your audience. Don't be stupid and sell a handgun to an out of stater. Or a long gun to Joe Blow who lives in a state where that gun is not legal. I don't always agree with Defcon, but some of you guys are just looking for trouble. That whole "Muh, Freedom.." crap is hard to swallow and has no calories.

I am a member of a FB gun group. We post a pic of the gun with "Not For sale Or Trade" and if someone is interested they comment range report or RR. Message them the details.

Back when I was on FB I was a member of several groups and they were walking on egg shells most of the time. They were pretty explicit about if you post a picture of anything you need to be very sure to comment "Not for Sale". They even whined about folks posting legal SBRs and suppressors.

Really bizarre IMO.

I closed my FB account and shut down my business page because they wouldn't honor any of my ads even with my FFL being verified as required. Wasn't worth it anymore.
